Total give or take-175 items! WOW!
Being a full time nurse, momma to 4, wife and volunteering in the youth group, you think my plate would be full enough.
Have you ever seen those pictures going around with the busy moms that say “overwhelmed with life, lets start a garden?” As a total joke, but with so much truth. How we already have so much going on in life but we choose to start something else. That’s me haha. Lets start a farmstand<3 I believe sometimes we just have to jump. Take a leap of faith and believe it will all work out. Can’t succeed if you never start right? Lots of prayer leading up the decision to start now.
Opening day I wanted to bake everything fresh, so I got up early Friday morning to bake. Woke up at 5:30, showered and started baking around 6:30. Here’s a picture of how that started off: lets all laugh together!

I could’ve let that ruin my morning but I choose to laugh and pray instead.
Opening time was noon and it was crunch time by 11:45!
Like usual, I got everything pulled together, set out and beautiful right at noon!
I sold out of all the oatmeal cream pies day 1, which I knew I had to have for Saturday! So, round 2 of baking began at 10:30 pm until 2:30 Saturday! Made another batch of oatmeal cream pies, another batch of banana muffins, added brownies, mississippi mud cake too!
Sentimental moment: Jack’s Chocolate chip cookie-dedicated to our nephew who lives with Jesus in Heaven. Opening day was on his first birthday! We love you baby Jack! The mississippi mud-I grew up baking this with my great-grandma Alma. It tastes amazing and has always been my favorite. I can still remember my favorite part with her, licking the bowl<3 Served best with a big glass of milk. I loved baking with her. I miss her so much, she would love this stand and I think she would be so proud of me. Thrifted finds-my love for thrifting is from my grandma Joan. She would give us a couple dollars and we’d go thrift. Birthday coming up, couple dollars and a trip to the goodwill to find your gift. She always found the coolest stuff and she had the best style. Every time I go thrifting I think of her and smile. Missing her so much to<3 The homemade cards are from Tyler’s grandma! She makes the most beautiful cards for any and every occasion! The homemade Jam is made by a local neighbor, she makes the best jam!

Great-grandma Alma, where my love for baking comes from and deep love for Jesus!

Grandma Joan where my love for thrifting comes from and learning that everyone needs Jesus.
I had someone reach out and donate Bibles for the stand! FREE Bibles! How amazing is that? I’m so grateful! The stand has free prayer cards too! Also, will always have cards to request prayer and put in the cash box. Totally private and I promise to pray over each and every request.
Special thank you to everyone who encouraged me to chase my dreams, my mom who helped me the week of opening, my mother in law for running to grab last minute things and helping, my hubby who built the stand, added a cooler last minute when I asked and for believing in me. Thank you to my best friends, for taste testing, dealing with my texts to get their opinions and thoughts and being so amazing and uplifting. I couldn’t have done this without you.
I’m hoping to have the stand open every weekend (Fri-Sun), maybe some Wednesdays. Weather will play a large part but I may look into pre-ordering and pick up if the weather is bad and the stand can’t go out! The Stand will not be open July 17th weekend-that’s youth group camp and I’m staying all night with the youth, pray for me haha. I’ll try to post at the beginning of the week the hours for the week and the menu. This is all very new, so hang in there with me ❤
The stand rolls out, I set it up beautifully and then I pray.
Pray over the stand, pray for God’s presence to be there, touch every visitor and meet them right where they are. I pray for every visitor to be safe, to be blessed and telling God how grateful I am for each visitor, and thank God for another day to chase my dreams and be used to bring people to know Him in whatever way I can.
Hope you can stop by the stand and show your support, find a yummy treat, take a prayer card, leave a prayer request and find a special gift for someone.
